1. Who We Are

Notum is operated by a Danish-registered company with CVR 46347315 and registered address Niels Jensens Vej 4, 2. 113, 8000 Aarhus C, Denmark. The terms "Notum", "we", "our", and "us" refer to this company. "You" refers to the person or entity using Notum.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
• You are responsible for maintaining account security and password confidentiality.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable Use

• You may not use Notum for unlawful, abusive, infringing, or fraudulent activities.
• You may not attempt to bypass security, quotas, or platform restrictions.
• You may not upload content that violates third-party rights or applicable law.

4. User Content and License

You retain ownership of content you create or upload (for example decks, flashcards, and media). You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service.

5. Plans, Billing, and Trials

• Notum offers Free, Pro, and Premium plans. Current listed prices are Premium (€4.99 EUR per month or €47.90 EUR per year).
• Subscriptions may be billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan option selected at checkout.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (including Stripe, with settlement through Revolut/Lunar business banking).
• You authorize us and our payment providers to charge applicable subscription fees, taxes, and any renewal charges unless you cancel before renewal.
• Unless otherwise stated at purchase, paid subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable mandatory consumer law.

6. Right of Withdrawal for Digital Services

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA (including Denmark), you may normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. For Pro and Premium subscriptions, by completing the purchase and requesting immediate access to digital services, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day withdrawal right once performance begins.

7. Service Availability and Changes

We may modify features, limits, and functionality over time. We aim for reliable service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breaches of these Terms, security risks, or unlawful conduct. You may stop using Notum at any time.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, Notum is provided "as is" and "as available" without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill.

11. Regional Consumer Rights (Global)

• Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.
• If you are in the EU/EEA/UK, mandatory consumer protections and data protection rights apply.
• If you are outside the EU/EEA/UK, your local mandatory consumer law may also apply.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the courts of Denmark, without prejudice to mandatory consumer forum rights that may apply in your country of residence.
